THANK YOU 4 supporting Birmingham Children's Hospital

We need your help! 45 years ago my parents were students at the University of Alabama when I began struggling to walk. After many visits around the university and local doctors they took me to Birmingham Children's Hospital where they discovered an Eosinophilic granuloma tumor on my spine. After a lengthy surgery Dr. Vesely and Dr. Longino removed the tumor and with radiation therapy it never came back. I spent a number of days in room 421 and 6 weeks in a body cast but I am so glad Children's was there for my family!
This year I am dedicating my running of Ironman Florida to raising dollars for the hospital that helped me and has helped thousands of other families. Thank you for considering a contribution to this great hospital!

I will be riding my Quintana Roo cD-01, the Chupacabra! It's a 2011 model and has served me well over the last 5 years, powering me through 30 triathlons and few thousand training miles.
